What’s the deal with Points?
The points system within NotaryBay contributes to how we rank notaries within a local area. The more points you have…the higher you rank.
** NOTICE ** We will be implementing a points aging features by Nov 5th., so that points earned are not permanent. They would gradually decrease over time. This would allow new quality notaries a chance to rank well, regardless of when they joined and started participating and earning points. To rank high you would need to replenish your points (from positive reviews, referrals, etc) *** END NOTICE ***
Earning Points
Here’s how you can earn points to bump up your ranking in your area:
1. Positive reviews from a NotaryBay customer (unlimited)
Every transaction you complete through NotaryBay will give you an opportunity to earn a one to five star review from the user who hired you. There is no limit to the points you can earn in this manner, so login to your account and start referring your customers to your NotaryBay profile so you can earn points this way! Negative (1-2 star reviews) will earn you 0 points. More positive reviews will earn you up to 25 points per job.
2. Link to your profile (25 points every month)
This is a drop dead easy way to earn points each month. Click on the “promote” link when you log into your account. Add one of great looking NotaryBay buttons to your webpage (paste the code into the HTML of your site) so people can find you at NotaryBay. Once you’ve done that, check that you link to your profile, and you’ll get your points. We’ll monitor this and can assist you if you need help getting your links up and working.
3. Refer customers to NotaryBay (100 points per registered user)
Have some escrow officers that might think NotaryBay is cool? Refer them to the site and receive 100 points for each registered user. You’ll not only bump your rankings up, but you’ll be helping the community of notaries receive more direct jobs as well. Be sure to use your unique customer link (its shown on the “points” page when you login to your account) so that you receive your proper credit.
4. Refer 100% awesome notaries to NotaryBay (25 points per registered notary)
Do you know some 100% awesome notaries that could benefit from more direct jobs and sweet profile at NotaryBay? Refer them using your unique referral link your profile and gain points for each referral. Notaries are going to find out about the NotaryBay site one way or another…why shouldn’t you get rewarded for referring them? Make sure and send them the notary link that’s built just for you on your account page.
5. Become a paid member
Paid members will receive 50 points automatically each month on their signup date just for being 100% and 100% serious about their notary business! Paid members get other sweet perks as well
